Tucked quietly down a country lane, the soundtrack here is a gentle one, the distant clip-clop of horses passing by, birdsong from the hedgerows and the occasional murmur of life from nearby farms.

Step outside and you’ll find generous lawns and a lavender-lined terrace, perfect for settling in with a drink and taking in the view. On warm afternoons, with the scent of lavender in the air and the hills stretching out beyond the garden, it’s not hard to imagine you’ve drifted somewhere a little further south.

Our grade II listed former stables have been tastefully transformed to 4 ensuite bed and breakfast rooms, each complete with their own unique style and quirky original features.

The Holt

The Den

Staying with dogs

We love dogs at The Cotley Inn, and understand how much of an integral part of the family they really are. The Den & The Holt are both dog friendly and we charge £15 per stay just to cover the extra housekeeping. 


We have reserved The Nest & The Drey as pet-free rooms for our guests who may have allergies, so unfortunately it’s not practical to have dogs in these rooms.
